ARRIVALS :
-
When
you arrive at the farm, inform the parking attendant that you are here for
your child’s birthday party. He will allow you to park in the ten-minute
party parking area, located by the greenhouse. This is a ten-minute parking
area only. We have several parties going on simultaneously so we must limit
the time in these spaces, to allow everyone the opportunity to drop off
children or supplies.
-
Please check-in at the Party Registration Table
located inside the 1st greenhouse door. From there you will either
be escorted to your tables in the greenhouse or directed to your tent and/or
tables in the field. Any guest who is simply dropping off their child or
children may also park in this area. Those planning to stay must park in
the hayride/pumpkin picking parking area.
PARTY (GREEN HOUSE):
-
You are allowed two hours for the tables you have reserved. This begins from
the time you are scheduled, so please be prompt. We are usually fully booked
and can not accommodate for late comers.
-
After you have
completed the indoor activities, of your party, (cake, presents, games, etc)
and before your two hours have expired, return to the Party Registration
Table, located inside the 1st greenhouse door. There you
will pay for and collect your hayride/pumpkin picking tickets. The attendant
will need to know how many people need *hayride tickets* and how many will
need *hayride/pumpkin picking* tickets. All accompanying adults must have
hayride tickets. We ask that you provide adequate supervision for the
children in the pumpkin patch. The tickets are needed for the return trip from
the pumpkin patch, so we recommend adults keep the tickets until
needed.
-
It will be necessary for you to collect all your items from the table before
your departure to the pumpkin patch. If you do not wish to return to your
vehicle, we can store it for you. However, we are not responsible for lost or
stolen items.
PARTY (FIELD):
-
After checking in at the Party Registration Table located
inside the 1st greenhouse door, you may take your party supplies
to the field ahead of the party. Please remember you will only be permitted on
your table 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled time. When stopped, please
inform the parking attendants you are delivering party supplies. The
field-parking attendant will allow you to drive to your tent and drop off
the party supplies, at the proper time. Follow the pumpkins, lining the farm
road, to the pumpkin field. Drive and park only in designated
areas. Do Not drive in the tractor drop-off or turn-around area.
Please yield to tractor drawn hayrides and pedestrians.
-
If you are not taking a hayride with your group, you can park your
vehicle in the Field Parking Area after you unload your party
supplies. If you are taking the hayride with your group, you must
return to the farm entrance and park your vehicle in the designated Hayride/Pumpkin
Picking Area.
-
We recommend a central meeting place for your entire group before your
hayride to the field. The best place is the Party Registration Table
located inside the 1st greenhouse door. Any guest who is dropping
off their child may park in the 10 minute Party Drop Off Area. When
all your guest have arrived and you are ready for your hayride to the field,
please return to the Party Registration Table located inside the 1st
greenhouse door. Here you will pay for, and collect, your
hayride/pumpkin picking tickets. The attendant will need to know how many
people need * hayride tickets* and mow many will need *hayride/pumpkin
picking* tickets. All accompanying adults must have hayride tickets.
We ask that you provide adequate supervision for the children in the
pumpkin patch. The tickets are needed for the return trip from the pumpkin
patch, so we recommend adults keep the tickets until needed.
-
Potato sacks are available from the field attendant at the U-Pick wagon for potato sack races. It is your responsibility to supervise the event.
-
Remember that we provide the tables only. No party supervision is given.
The tables are yours for the two-hour period that you reserved. There are no
table clothes on the field tables, due to the wind.
DEPARTURES:
-
We
recommend that you arrange for the parents to pick up their children who are
attending the
party at a designated area selected by you. (A great meeting place is
the Petting Zoo!). This allows the children to enjoy an activity while they
wait for
their parents. We recommend allowing at least three to four hours for your
party.
-
Parents are permitted to park in the ten-minute party parking area when
picking up children. Please inform the parents to tell the parking
attendant that they are picking up a child at a birthday party.
-
We hope you have a memorable party at our farm. We enjoy having you!
