Fall Activities Include:
Field Activities:
Besides the over five acres of pumpkins,
Simmons Farm offers multiple field activities for Children and Adults. A Field
Pass (see below) includes access to the following: a free Apple sample, a cup of
cider, admittance to the hay maze, corn maze, play area, petting zoo, nature
trail, and our 100ft Fire Truck slide!
On the weekends, extra activities include: Food, Balloons,
Pumpkin Carving, Pony Rides, Pumpkin Typhoon, Apple Sling Shot, and music by
Fiddlin' Mike and the Fiddlin Around Band!
Hayrides and Drive-Outs:
There are two types of Hayrides: Scenic and Pumpkin. Scenic Hayrides
include a Hayride and all field Activities, but no pumpkin. A Pumpkin Hayride includes the scenic ride, field actives,
and a pumpkin you pick fresh from the field. Pumpkins must be picked in
the field, and may not be exchanged in the market. Field Pumpkins vary in size.
Hayride Group Rates:
Group Rates for 10 People or More. Must be
paid in one sum.
Scenic Hayride and Activities: $7.00/Person
Hayride with Pumpkin: $9.00
Birthday Parties:
Birthday parties may include access to the following:
Pumpkins, Field Activities, and Market Activities. Also included: two (2)
hour use of picnic tables in the greenhouse or field, and potato sack
races. Rates vary, please call the Market (724-941-1490) for further
details and reservations.
Apple Picking: (Start times coming soon)
Pick-Ur-Own Apples begins August 22, 2007. Beginning in
Mid-September, varieties include: Empire, Ida Red, Jonagold, Golden and Red
Delicious. Beginning Early October, Rome and Winesap apple varieties are
available. Apple Varieties may vary, please call for availability.

Peck: 8.00
1/2 Bushel: 14.00
Bushel: 26.00
Minimum Amount: One (1) Peck
Night Hayrides:
Hayrides are from 6-9 and 7-10 PM
Groups are given a 20-30 minutes
hayride through our fields, and are dropped off at a bonfire site. Surrounding
the bonfire you will find crates for sitting and skewers for roasting. Tables
are also provided for any additional food items you wish to bring. Simmons Farm
will provide marshmallows and apples for your group! Wagons hold between 30-35
people. Please remember this event must be scheduled in advance!
