Simmons Farm
operates over 35,000-sq. ft. of greenhouse area, dedicated to retail sales and
display. We grow a variety of ANNUALS,
PERENNIALS, herbs, and vegetable plants.
Many of the plants are started in early December to allow ample time to develop
large healthy plants ready to be set out in the garden for instant color in the
spring. We constantly examine our plants for all types of pests, to assure the 
plants
are healthy and pest free. Our plants are available in a variety of sizes, from
small four cell containers to large planters. Hanging baskets and pre-planted
containers are the most popular. We offer a large selection of unusual varieties
planted early and ready to be planted when the weather and soil warms.
We also offer CUSTOM PLANTING ! You can select from a wide variety of containers in our market, or bring in your own. Once you have the container selected, you can choose the exact color, and variety of plants to fill your container. Finally we can plant the container (many times while you wait) or if you don't mind getting your hands dirty you can use our facilities (potting soil, tools, ext) and do the planting your self. We also
offer a large selection of Vegetable Plants. This includes over 15 varieties of
tomatoes, 12 varieties of peppers, zucchini, Cabbage, onions, melons, cucumbers,
and many more. They, are the old varieties, that are tried and true, and the
more modern varieties, both that are use, in our own fields. Both the farm and
the Rt.19 locations also carry perennials, herbs, and a selection of shrubs. Our
knowledgeable staff is here ready to assist you in your selection and in getting
your plants off to a healthy start.
