Our goal, at Simmons Farm, is to grow produce that has acquired the highest
quality and flavor possible. We accomplish this by allowing the fruit to ripen
on the plant at it’s own rate and then when it has reached the optimum
ripeness we harvest by hand. The produce is then delivered to our markets as
quickly as possible, usually within a few hours. This produce is also available
for wholesale on a limited basic. Listed below are the crops we grow and their
usual availability date

Over the years we have established contact with other farmers
in areas that have an earlier growing season, and who grow and pick their
produce in the same manner as we do. In the time before our crops are ready, for
picking, we send our trucks directly to their fields. The produce is hand
picked, loaded directly into our trucks, and transported directly to our farm
thus insuring its quality and freshness.
